Dealing with the State Board of Workers’ Compensation

Georgia’s State Board of Workers’ Compensation is the agency which regulates the workers’ compensation system in Georgia. When disputes come up between injured employees and insurance companies or employers, it is the State Board which rules in the case. Some disputes may be decided with a simple motion, but most are decided at a hearing before an administrative law judge.

The Board enforces a wide range of Georgia statutes and case precedent as well as over 50 different Board Rules and forms. Lee Biola determines which statutes, rules, forms and caselaw apply to your case and speaks to the Board on your behalf.
